LOTS OF MEN WITH LOTS OF GUITARS

Lots Of Men with Lots of Guitars

Now what he wants to be is, for some reason,

a lonesome cowboy.

A chap in chaps with a jaw of exceeding severity,

And a great lonesome depression

Under the great lonesome sky.

A man alone under this great horizon.

That is, until the take is finished.

And then he'll sit in a lonesome bar.

With a headache and a heart ache,

And lots of men with lots of Guitars.

All he is is a cow-hick.

He's only got bovine friends.

To him it doesn't matter how many beans he eats,

There's no-one around to offend.

There's no-one for him to talk to,

There's no-one who will listen to him,

There's no-one from whom he can ask the time,

Or tell him the way.

But what he ought to do is

Head for a trailer somewhere,

With a head ache and a heart ache

Sit down and drink some drinks

With lots of men and lots of guitars.
