HIT and RUN, (RE) Gallery, Adelaide, 1993
In 1993 PI staged HIT and RUN, a late night event involving two slide projectors strapped to the top of the PI staff car. Parked across the street from [RE] Gallery, to the sound of a scratchy Tom Waits soundtrack, two sets of slides were simultaneously projected onto the gallery facade, one a text/image narrative sequence, the other a pre-shot sequence of two figures entering and leaving the gallery during the daytime. The second figure emerges carring the dead body of the first.
